Friday, March 12, 2010Hello Everyone,Several things, back last year quite a few individuals called to ask questions and others were complaining as to the work being done at Ft. Ancient. The next installment in the 2010 Frontiers in Ohio Archaeology presentation series at SunWatch is this Saturday at 10:30 am with Dr. Robert Riordanin from Wright State University to discuss Recent Excavation and Geophysical Discoveries at the Moorehead Circle, Fort Ancient. Free admission to the presentation and coffee, tea and donuts will be provided. Don't miss this opportunity to hear what archaeologist are doing with regards to our cultural, spiritual, and historical sites here in Ohio and to ask those questions you've been asking me. Secondly, don't forget the monthly TMVCNA General Membership meeting will be held this coming Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm. at the Community of Christ Church, 860 Grange Hall Road, in Beavercreek. There are several agenda items as well as a report by Mr. Billy Boswell on his trip to Cheyenne River in South Dakota. As most of you know we have started a long overdue project regarding the health and well being of all of us. The Chante' Project has sponsored several walks and one informational meeting. With more to come as the health and well being is something we should all be concerned about. Have we forgotten that praying is healthy for the soul? why we go to the sweat lodge, for our personal health and the health of others physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Why we have our Pow-Wow's? for the health of our community. We should be coming together sharing information and encouraging each other to live healthier lifestyles.
