Just a reminder, Wilma & I will be taking school supplies out to the following schools; Takini School, CE-B School/Dorms and the Tiospaye Topa School located in La Plant, SD. We are planning to leave August 29, 2006 and delivering the school supplies on the following days before August 31, 2006.

 

 All school supplies are needed and we will pick up donations if you wish to make arrangements. You can also include traveler size soaps, toothpaste, shampoo, lotions all personal items for personal hygiene etc.

 

We have taken out new loafers or tennis shoes nothing fancy, along with t-shirts of any size.

 

The important thing needed would be is money donations for fuel to get the items out to South Dakota. My wife and I are using our own money to purchase school supplies as have other friends we have been in contact. So with the rise in gas prices the cost will most certainly double.

 

Our tentative plan is to pick up a 20 x 8 x 4 ft trailer or larger and pack my truck with as much as we can be able to haul or maybe rent a big Ryder truck. We will be keeping in touch with any updates for you between now and August 29, 2006.

 

Your support is greatly appreciated and the Students receiving the supplies would be very appreciative.
